I Am a Migrant
The U.K. government has decided they want to reduce foreign workers in the NHS by 50%. That’s despite the fact the U.K. NHS has always been run by incredible foreign workers. Migration is as old as man himself. Migration has become a big policy winner. It is the food of fear for the masses yet most countries as history reveals have been built, developed, enhanced, grown and prospered under - MIGRATION.

The man, the woman, the child, the refugee… THE MIGRANT
I am a product of economic migrants - My mother and father.
My French descendants moved to Ireland
My Irish immigrants moved to Scotland
My Scottish family moved to England
My English existence is migrant
And finally, my Georgian wife
Our Scottish, Georgian, and English son and daughter.
We are migrants

Migrant
There is only one reason any human will walk barefoot over a mountain, travel across a dangerous sea in a rubber dinghy, cross deadly borders in searing heat with no water, carrying old ones on their backs along with young ones and any possessions.
That reason is usually FEAR.
Fear of the future, fear of the now, fear of life as it is fear of death.
Let’s be honest, would you put your life at such a huge risk, leave all of your belongings behind, risk rape, murder, death and other catastrophes such as drowning for any other reason?
A migrant from a tiny almost unknown place told us that when her town began to be bombed, her people began to be shot she grabbed what she could in a case with her husband and son. As they left the house her husband was killed instantly. She and her son ran and ran until they could only walk. When they finally arrived and walked through a town they were held up at gunpoint where she was raped, her son was beaten and their case full of their only worldly goods was stolen from them.
Finally, she arrived at a border crossing with nothing apart from her life leaving her dead friends her dead husband and everything she had worked for all her life behind. She had found refuge. She now lives as a peaceful hard-working migrant in the Republic of Georgia. She is safe, she is alive. Her son has never recovered and has a declining mental illness.
An old Syrian man with an aged face cragged by drama and loss is sitting in rags now in Iraq (his refuge country) and shares his story of migration. He was a wealthy businessman. He was respected, loved and admired by those around him. His family was very large, and that was fine as he had the wealth to look after all of them. He drove the best car, lived in the biggest house and had a life in the top ten earners in Syria.
Today, the family that are still living (most were murdered) live together with him in one single room in the dust of Iraq. He has food, he has safety and he is loved by the people of Iraq. He says he might be able to one day rebuild his wealth.
But he realises the reality that he can never return home because there is nothing to return to. His people are dead, his belongings are stolen or destroyed. There is nothing. He calls himself Iraqi today. He is a refugee, he is a migrant. He is grateful to Iraq for taking him.
War displaces and kills people. Over two million Palestinians still live in Jordan. Rwanda lost 2.5 million in their population to Tanzania and Zaire. Over eight million Ukrainians now live outside their war-ravaged country. And the list goes on. Venezuela is haemorrhaging its population right now as are other countries. The Sudanese army is happy shooting their people as they complain about an illegal government. This list goes on.
Don’t be fooled, the reasons given on mass by governments, politicians, influencers, TV personalities with limited intelligence and other prominent media voices are rarely true when it comes to mass migration. Some simple research of your own will reveal that for you.
People don’t leave everything to live a life of lower value, hardship or simply to be part of another community.
It is true there is no place like home, but when home no longer becomes home and your life is under threat you run. I would, wouldn’t you?
It seems your passport determines your value as a human being. It seems there are countries that have a lower or higher value of their people. Some will even kill them. Just look at the value of a Russian passport right now. They have happily devalued their own people in pursuit of more stolen lands. Almost three million Russians devalued and now migrants overnight.
Let me explain.
migrant or migration Or Criminal?
I watched and listen carefully and objectively to a detailed documentary about migrants and refugees. They looked at the movement of people from a different angle and it made me think.
First, the word migrant or migration.
What and why?
Think about it why do people migrate? I mean think about it. The media have created a new meaning for the word. The word has now become associated with criminality and illegal actions yet why would anyone sane person leave everything – home, family, possessions and local value to live in a box on a strange street or prison-like camp and be treated with utter disdain? Read FACTS here.
In the USA right now some migrants are being treated with utter rejection and loathing to the point children are dying in what is said to be like concentration camps where they have been torn away from their parents.
They asked one man why he had left everything.
He replied that in his country as a citizen he is treated as a lower class to be suppressed and have life withheld from him. To open a business and push forward in life is frowned upon and unsupported. Gangs, drugs, and prostitution are common.

Yet the same man also explained that if you had arrived in the country from say France as an example the government will support and happily invest in the foreign investor.
In other words, the value of being from another country is higher than the value of a local. The man also explains that as a local being killed on the street by the government wasn’t uncommon.
Why?
For being a local citizen and no other reason.
But what about the word refugee?
This is a word that has been abused again by the media and shockingly even by some lower IQ and intelligent world leaders (although I think ‘leader’ is the wrong choice of word).
A woman explained how there was a knock on her door at home in the country she had fled from. Finally, the door opened and in burst a group of men. In a second they grabbed her husband and Uncle and then beheaded them both in front of her and the children.
She explained in tears that this was common in her country right now so it was a case of flight or die. When I say flight, I mean flight for refugees… safety! She also went on to say that the people native to her country have no real value in her country.
Both had the same thing to say and it is this.
If they could become a citizen of another country their value as human beings would rise instantly.
Both shared stories that when they should the native passports they were viewed with suspicion. Now they show their new passports and citizenship of their new country and both explained how no one blinked an eye and treated them as normal, regular human beings.
This documentary wasn’t just two people it was many people that had left everything NOT for the reason - get more for nothing - from another country but to increase their value as human beings.
Shocking but interesting!
Boundaries and borders are manufactured by men. They don’t and cannot exist as a reality. Have you ever seen an Elephant or wildebeest stop at the border? They are put in place from a place of fear. Fear of losing what they have claimed as their own. You can see this on a small scale with homeowners. When you buy a home, you get a land deed and the land deed shows your exact boundary.
In the local news last week, a man was caught on camera threatening to beat his neighbour to a pulp because the neighbour would lean on his fence post. The fence postmarked his boundary or the line between sanity and sometimes insanity.
Yet Egypt once had massive boundaries – where are they now? So, did Greece, so did Rome and so did many others but where are they now? The Mongolian Empire was once the biggest landmass empire in history. Now they are a race of people barely known about.
The boundaries were created by greed and mostly established through blood, death, criminality and war. The greed created fear of loss. The fear of loss built armies and nations. The nations rose and stand in opposition to each other. The nation’s demand for leadership. The leader is appointed. Once appointed the leader can adopt a godly mantle that will then build his leadership around his greatness above all. This by default creates lowliness in the masses of the country. The value of the human is a result of how the country is then led by the leader – good or bad. America was built on this exact principle as were many other countries. They are in constant fear of losing what they stole in the first place. This is fabrication yet this and these are migrant nations.
And humans being humans will try to flee a threat. The threat is very real in some nations more than others.
Yet.
The ideas and concepts of nations will always be and have always been built on sand. Nations can vanish as fast as they appear. I watched the U.S.S.R. fall apart. It was unreal, unexpected and incredible to watch. I think we are seeing the fall of one nation USA into smaller nations. Time will tell.
Nations will build and then be destroyed by those that built.
I read in Monocle magazine a great article about Lebanon. Yet when I was a kid Lebanon looked like Syria today.
Built by men, destroyed by men and then rebuilt by men. Yet interestingly the artist and young businesspeople being interviewed still have to battle through suspicion and walls put in place by their own rulers. As Lebanese, they are almost by social default devalued by their passport by their own rulers in their own country despite their obvious greatness.
Shocking!
And now through the rise of the stupid leaders, the ill-informed, the ignorant, the celebrity and insular and of course the outright stupid that surrounds themselves with foolishness we are seeing different humans from different nations being given a human value. It can be high, medium, low or simply carry of the value of nothing. In some countries, if you speak up against the leaders you simply vanish never to be seen again. Look at the journalist Jamal Khashoggi murdered and carefully dismembered recently in Turkey.
Don’t be shocked when massive changes arrive in your life.
They do come and will come whether we like it or not. The real question is are we ready to recreate our life if we have to? Could we? Do we have what it takes to survive outside our boundaries if we ever have to? You could one day become refugees from your own country. Don’t ever think all those refugees knew that one day they would be refugees – they didn’t.
Finally,I met a ‘refugee’ that looked like a real mess and a little down and out. Ignored by the people in his new country, under threat of death from people in his home country.
He told me this.
I am sad and broken. In my home country, I was a businessman with a larger manufacturing company. We supplied most of those that needed our product. I had a large house, many cars and a lot of money in the bank. Most of my family is somewhere else. Many are dead killed by a stranger for no reason in a war that makes no sense.
I left my money behind, my big home, my many cars, my factory was bombed and everything – my life – has been destroyed. We had to run with nothing. Finally,I arrived here in this place.
I want to go home but I will never go home. I am worth nothing in my own country. At home,I am nothing. In this country, I am human, I am valued and I am a refugee.
I wonder if it is worth asking the question are we being fooled by the media mantra of what a refugee or an immigrant is? The rise of the populist will increase the danger for refugees. It can lead to death for many whilst the world turns its eyes. But is what we are being told real?
Have we made a decision of what a migrant, immigrant or refugee is based on facts, not media hype or ill-informed stupid leaders?
It’s the difference between knowing our value as a human and our valuation of other humans. We are all human, we are all migrants of some sort from some time period. Don’t be fooled by those in search of more power. Even they and their greed will die.
I watched a police interview with the media in the USA. The man said something like the following.
‘His skin was different to ours and he spoke a language I couldn’t understand. It was like a demon speaking’ … A dangerously subliminal TV moment missed by many yet absorbed by millions.
It had everything about the rise of the migrant lie.
Devaluation of another human race.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of loss.
Self-elevation of one race over another.
Yet cultures do vary, beliefs are different and those that will kill for a belief like Christians, Muslims, Jewish or any other belief we can do nothing to change them. Blowing them into a million pieces simply scatters seeds that return ever strong than before.
Change comes from within a person and that person will only change once he or she realises change is needed.
Only then can we value the lives of everyone rather than the lives we have been brainwashed or embedded to place in a value different to our own?
We are all human.
This world is in a dangerous time. I won’t say unpreceded. I think all assessments are based on our living experience yet history reveals many other stories from the past that can see and read and look much worse.
The battle for power has never been greater. The dangers have never had so much power. The new age of leaders has taken it upon itself to declare itself great and others lesser humanity.
These are dangerous times that are picking up pace.
Yet let’s not forget these are also wonderful times when good and great people are doing good and great things. Where the old way of boundaries and borders are being torn apart by the freedom given to us by the web. Where black and white are the same. Where Arab, Jews, Christians and Muslims are the same. Where a human smile is exchanged with a human smile despite the language barriers.
We can only hope the good will win over the bad.
History reveals a different story but I think we are entering a new Puritan time of history that will gather pace.
We are all human.
We all have value.
You have value.
You are human.
Feel free to share or connect.
Peace.
