If you have 100 people does that mean you have to create 100 meals? Of course the answer is simple – of course you have to create 100 meals.

If only 50 meals are created that means 50 people go hungry. Yet if 200 meals are created that means you are going to get a lot of two things.

Fat unhealthy and obese humans that will eat more than they should because its there to eat. The second thing of course is waste, lots and lots and lots of waste.

Yet the waste is sickening when you know that people die from no food (or no distribution of food).

I was shocked when I recently watched a TED talk to see this brilliant expert reveal the food industry and its shocking waste.

The guy asked the audience the following question…’ who here like sandwich’s with crusts or the end part of the bread?’

Surprisingly most said they did with a show of hands.

The second question though was the puzzle when he then said, ‘who here has ever bought or seen a sandwich made with bread crusts?

Silence greeted his question and then the shocking reveal came when he showed a photograph of a large waste skip with no less than 13,000 fresh bread crust dumped ready to go to the landfill.

There were skip after skip of these bread crusts. And not just bread. Mountains of potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, grain and wrapped foods direct from large stores thrown directly into the waste due to shelf lives going out of date.

The potatoes had the wrong skin and buyers won’t buy the wrong skin. The tomatoes were too small because buyers think a good tomato is just the right size. The carrots were huge and could feed large families but the consumer isn’t used to huge carrots and thinks a large carrot isn’t a good carrot. So those and the rest are simply discarded.

They could feed animals but that’s not allowed. They could feed the homeless yet that’s not allowed either. They could feed the starving but that would just make a mess of the economy so – it’s not allowed.

Did you know some economies don’t create or produce 100% of the food required they produce as high as 400%. That means 300% has to be discarded. What’s also interesting is some of the countries in the 400% range are those facing serious financial crisis right now. Countries like Greece, Ireland, and the USA and many more.

The policies are really simple, eat it, sell it or dump it.

So what is going on here?

What is actually taking place here are the zoomanic policies that are repeated, regurgitated and stamp in meetings of those that deem the importance of one another before the clarity of common sense.

Zoomanity has its rules, its rule are based around question nothing, accept everything. The zookeepers will think for you, they deal for you, they say yes and no for you.

Yet their repeatisms are based on power not sense. The power of the zookeeper rather than the power of the individual. The zookeeper must stay in control, if he loses control, he loses his grip on the masses, if he loses his grip on the masses he loses his authority. The only way the Zookeeper can lose their grip is when the masses start to awaken.

How do they wake up? They wake up by informing themselves yet how many people in today’s society actually take steps to inform and become aware?

When the headline of a newspaper features the latest shoes to be worn by some Z-lister from a reality TV show you know you have a society in trouble.

Think about it, why do you think mass media feed the masses endless dribble, mass meaningless nonsense and utter fantasy?

They give the masses what has been tested to sell. What has been tested to sell is the interest in the lives of others of anyone. Human curiosity and sideshow Barnum-esque freak shows. Once the masses become engulfed into the lives of others they are removed from their trapped or unfulfilled lives. This way the minds of the masses are then under a spell, a zoomanic trance that is cyclical and almost impossible to snap out of.

That’s why people never ask things like, ‘where does all the waste food go?’ People do care but they also been trained to believe that the life of a media created ‘star’ is a priority of thought.

I have to say I have listened to more conversations about TV or media starts than I have about war zones or starving millions, how about you?

Zoomanity has been clever yet the truth is the human is greater than the Zooman, and Zoomanity has no final hold on anyone.

Throwing away 300% of food production is a shocking fact whilst people die from no food. It’s a fact that most don’t question.

All it takes is a single moment, a fraction of a second for any human being to be honest and ask themselves, is this life all there is? Yet that takes guts in a world obsessed by itself.

No wonder the world is a mess right now while at the same time the world is as beautiful as ever.

How about you, will you make your escape from Zoomanity and finally awaken to the possibility of more?
