Salvation Temple

Salvation Temple Roll up, roll up, it's time for the greatest show on Earth. It is coming, it is here, it has arrived. Andrew Reynolds has been a pal of mine for years now. In fact I know - I am his hero ;-) But is Andrew Reynolds a new Barnum, a real English eccentric building the greatest show on Earth? This Friday around 8,000 (not a typo) seminar attendees will be flocking to his show, the greatest show in town at the O2 arena London. <a href="http://bootcamp09.com">www.Bootcamp09.com</a> His marketing has been a master craft exercise to watch and as I have watched and read his letters and campaigns, week after week culminating on Andrew giving away his £125,000 Custom Bentley from stage. This is a marketing EVENT, a moment in time that most seminar providers will look at awe in. I have been sent a VIP ticket and backstage pass to hang out and meet old and new pals. I will be there (come say hi or punch me on the nose ;-) But as I prepare to come down to London I can't help put myself in the shoes of those attending. This is the salvation temple, this is where new worship takes place. The speakers are the gods and in their hands lands salvation of the followers. As attendees get excited by the prospect of going, the atmosphere, the networking, the hope of meeting and speaking to one of their gods in the temple I wonder what is really going on inside their HEADS. Salvation from? People go to seminars for answers. The meaning of life, the meaning of money, the meaning of anything. They believe their salvation is always wrapped up in some future event. "If I go, I find a new way to do this or that, all will be fine in the future" In other words, the people flock to the new temple, they wait for words of salvation, they chase the salvation so that things will be better in the future for them. Actually... that's a myth, it's wrong. How can happiness depend on something that we don't have? It isn't possible. We can only be happy with what we have got. It's really this simple. Take a man naked. Place him somewhere unfamiliar with nothing. The wilderness, the mountains, the desert. Allow him to have food and water, leave him for 30 days. Can that man be happy? The man could think ... "when I get back home everything will be OK again" But actually, everything is OK now if he becomes completely present with himself and discovers how to appreciate what he has in that moment. Our happiness never depends on a future event. It depends on being present right now. If something is far away, we have to walk to it. If we want it quicker, we have to run to it. By the time we get to it we can be too tired to enjoy it. In fact, it can leave us ruined! In other words, each of us are our own salvation if we understand the NOW, the present moment and take in that present moment. Let me list 5 things that make my own life perfect right now 1. Katharine my darling 2. My 4 kids 2. Birds and squirrels 3. Fresh air 4. The large Oak tree outside 5. Me Take everything away and leave me with that - all is good, all is fine, all is perfect. And even take them away and leave me alone - all is good, all is fine, all is perfect. The OLD PARADIGM is chase money and pay the price. This doesn't work anymore, it's dead, it's an abysmal failure that works only for the seller. I spoke to a friend the other day. She suggested that the NEW PARADIGM money as we know it won't exist. I have to say - I agree with that. The walls are falling down on this old order. Isn't that clear? So I wonder how many of the 8000 at this massive boot camp have salvation now or are about to take a hike or long walk to find it? I am on my way there tomorrow to the salvation temple. I for one am looking forward to it. I love Andrew Reynolds events, he is the new Barnum. This is just a brief ramble, just a thought, right, wrong, no idea, just wanted to share it with you. Opinion?
