Law of Resolution
19 years ago on New Years Eve Dave was with his ex-wife, he made a promise to her, a new years resolution, his RESOLVE to her that things would change, he would change. Life would get better, cash would get easier, life would get clearer. Each new year Dave entered started well and then quickly went back to his old place. After 10 years of marriage his wife told him ... change or this marriage is over. So again for the next 5 New Years Eves Dave went over the same ritual, the same words, the same promise that clearly weren't going to be fulfilled. When he said his resolve, he meant it, kind of, but it was never really going to happen. 19 Years later Dave is alone wondering what went wrong. He says... next year will be different. Why all the fuss on New Years Eve then? New years day has it's modern day invention as far back as 153 B.C. The whole thing was dedicated to the Mythical Roman King Janus. Janus had to faces. One looked back, the other looked forward. The face that looked back was to look over the previous year gone and extend forgiveness to their enemies. The other face was to look forward ... probably to the day when they would slaughter their enemies (lol). And most of the time history and Dave above has shown New Years Resolutions aren't worth the paper, the air they are spoken into. Why is that? Change begins with you and unless you know who you are a date, a promise, a thought won't mean anything. When we go through change on mass, ie, New Years Eve, change cannot take place within us. Because when we run with the pack, go on mass, follow the crowd we share the same vibrational field as them. Think about this carefully ... vibrations can share in an instant, these vibrations can literally help or hinder you. Here's an example of how vibration of others or the masses can affect you. I think back to the death in the UK of princess Diana. The mood of many changed in an instant. People were crying, calling each other, emailing each other, shocked, hurt devastated. The TV in the UK was back-to-back reports of what took place, how it took place and how it could be different and so on. None of these people even knew her yet, it appeared that almost all of the nation ... apart from the mighty ones ... became hypnotized into the same vibrational field as the masses. Think about these resolutions or resolves you might make. Are you making them because you want to, they are from the heart, they are part of your deeper more conscious being or ... are you doing it because it's new years eve and that is what you are supposed to do? And if you do it on News Years Eve... you make the promise in a lower vibrational frequency that maybe you could in another time. Can you see how the effect of the masses can affect you direct? So what about Dave above, what went wrong? Dave like all of us has his own Janus characteristics. He has the ability to look back and look forward. Now he can look back at the things he doesn't like and say I am going to change but is he asking himself the WHY do these things I don't like keep coming into my life? Dave needs to... Look deeply into himself Find the origin of the problems he might have Discover the solutions Connect to his greater source Take time to reflect In other words... be as honest as he can be with himself. Dave was attracting his life that's for sure. He was stuck in his drama, routine and habits of failing. The few words, the handwritten notes for New Year meant nothing. They didn't work. How about you? Do you need a set day, time, moment to RESOLVE your stuff? Maybe but here is the thing ... unless YOU change, nothing will change. That change doesn't just start with habits, rituals, routines, it starts inside of you, the part no one can see, no one can share, no one can be part of because the change has to be about you. To make it work you can try this. Make the first change inside your heart, your head, your deepest parts. That's the moment when you say I have ahd enough. Write down the changes you are a wanting in your life. Be specific but don't make them unbelievable. Print something on paper that reflects that change. This bit is important for you. As it triggers the resolve continually. Write a note on the back of the paper confirming this is what you need in your life. Thsi is your affirmation that you are commited. Each day in the morning, in the middle of the day at night before bed, secretly, privately go over your pictures, your words and embed them into your heart. Here is the thing. When you commit to change, change comes to you. You don't have to change it yourself on the outside, it's the inside where your changes are made. And ... It's interesting a lot of people will talk about their new found and filed promises, they share them with everyone and anyone willing to listen, to share an ear in that moment. This will weaken your promise to yourself, your request for transformation. This is change based only on the moment that someone says 'well done' in other words... in the moment you share your RESOLVES to others you feel the power of significance in your life, the pat on the head that says well done. Sadly that vanishes. 2010 what is it going to bring for you then? It can bring whatever you want. You can attract anything into your life you want to attract. It can be a time when you do look back and make inner resolves over past issues. Dave spent 19 years making resolutions. Not one resolve stood the test of time. Ultimately, it's up to you. Let me know what you think or any resolve expereinces you have had.
