Abolitionist Posse
It's easy to forget if you watch the news that Egypt was once a World power. They were actually the dominant nation on planet Earth, just like the USA is today. They built huge monoliths, astonishing Pyramids, heart stopping temples, a system simple of mathematics, an independent writing system, super effective systems for medicines and art that is sought after today along with it's supreme architecture and ability to control the ever-flooding Nile with a controlled form of irrigation and dams. I could go on, I won't and I won't claim to be a historian of any kind. What I can find out is they were once a truly great, inspiring and leader based nation to be feared, glorified and held in admiration. It would be easy to look at the troubles right now and see this in modern times as a small holiday resort nation as a bunch of primitive tribes in battle for power. Cleary it's not! I don't want to and won't be drawn into politics here but it's clear something is taking place. Meet Ali. He is 47 years old. All he has known is the current leader. He has his family, his bigger family, his small thriving business and has discovered a bigger world outside due to his connections via the web. His father who is still alive had fought in two smaller wars, one in the fifties and another in the 70s. He is a survivalist by nature and an Egyptian through and through. Father has an insular vision. Egyptians are Egyptians and should stay in Egypt. He is loyal to his leader and nothing will change that. He says the leader has been in power for a long time, why change now? His son has a huge vision that has been molded, shaped and formed by a big world view that has made the world a much smaller place. His son also see things different. New visions. New thoughts. New parameters. He has traveled a bit, spoken to other world travelers and now see himself as a global citizen rather than just an Egyptian. Last night at 2:47am he arrived home. He's been on the streets, fighting, rioting, attacking the opposition with a stick and thousands of others at his side and behind him. He'll go to bed, sleep and wake up again, riot again, think his new forward vision again and keep on going until change arrives. The truth is there's nothing new in this behavior. For decades, centuries, millenniums people have risen against the OLD guards of nations, those that have been in power too long, too much and had too much control. The relaxed attitude of a leader in this position reflects almost an invincible attitude. This of course always breeds complacency. But away from the politics for a second lets look at why Ali is out on the streets. He is from anther generation that has been exposed to a bigger wider, more global view. He now feels he needs what the world is tasting, this includes more freedom to do as he likes. The exposure of a larger idea into mankind gathers a pace of its own. This pace affects each generation different to the previous. While an older generation resists change based on their historical view the new generation want changed based on a bigger vision of what is taking place in the world. Once we invite change into our home (Via TV or the Web or other media) ... change then becomes part of our thinking, our mindset or longer, wider vision. It's clear change takes place in the unconscious. It takes place in an area where we feel before we rationalize within our minds. Can you feel it in your life, change? You're not sure how to rationalize but you are sure it feel right, can you feel that? This is a part of you that needs almost no explaining. You know when you are out of something, say a dram in your life, then when you look back you realize that you were supposed to be outside the drama, it was better for you, has made you stronger and allowed you to grow into a better person than you already were. It would be easy to judge another country for their behavior. Man will and many will criticize yet the changes are much deeper than the leader. The changes are always led from an unconscious place that creates triggers that will push forward bigger change. How about your own life, can you feel the need for change but resist it daily, weekly, for years now. You feel if changes are not made you're just not sure how you'll go on. You're not even sure how this feeling for change arrived, all you do know is it's gathering pace and you are fighting it. The leaders in Egypt are also fighting it. The reality is it will happen, change will take place where they lose their power. If we prevent of block the flow of change it usually only results in a negative charge being produced into a nation or into our lives. If you are feeling this way, change will come but the reality is... you must allow the changes to flow into your life and then flow with them. The day will arrive later when you fully understand them. This is part of your own escape from zoomanity, escape from a bigger world that feeds itself first and it's followers second. Are you leading your own life? If you are feeling the need for change you know what to do. If this helps you can I ask you either like the page and post onto facebook or you leave a comment.
